5 things you didn't know about Olamide

 

  The Eniduro musician has been paired this season with Marabenta queen from Mozambique – Neyma. Their mash up performances, crafted by Kenyan producer Musyoka, have rocked audiences across Africa already. Olamide opened up to reveal a few interesting things about himself to us:

 

1.Top role model
His best rapper and artiste in the world is Jay Z. That explains how the Nigerian crooner commands his audiences.
2.King Baddo
The name Baddo was given to Olamide after someone who was actually called Baddo. His daughter’s name, Maxmiliano, on the other hand means the greatest. How awesome is that? In Nigerian dialect, Olamide means my wealth has come.
3.Best team 
Olamide credits his management and Manager Alex Okeke for his success and consistency. He is also a Manchester United fan.

4.Best lady
The boss also revealed that he is currently looking for a ‘unique and talented female artist or a female group’ to sign under his record label, YBNL.
“There is room for uniqueness – a major factor,” he reiterated.
5.Success
Regarding throwbacks, his most stressful video to produce was Eniduro. He concludes: “I have 90% confidence in all the Nigerian artistes I’ve worked/collaborated with.”
